With Earth Day upon us, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to talk about Kedziefest Parties commitment to sustainability. It is too often we find ourselves buying a bunch of plastic crap for our parties with the intent that once the party is over, we just throw it all in the trash (no judgement, I am guilty too!).  I have an ongoing personal commitment to myself to use less non-recyclable plastics and when I do, reuse it instead of throwing it out so I kept this goal in mind when selecting the products you see at www.kedziefest.com

When selecting the products to bring into our boutique, I carefully research both the company who I am purchasing from as well as the source of their products to ensure what I am going to be carrying in my shop has a low environmental impact while ensuring the highest quality of product.  

Here are some of the ways Kedziefest Parties is working to promote sustainability in the party supply industry:

Ethical Standards:  When we select products to carry, we do an incredible amount of research on the company as well as the product to be sure that they hold themselves to the same ethical standards that we do which is why we're so proud to carry products by companies who believe in worker's safety, fair wage and benefits and dedication to minimizing environmental impacts.

Paper over Plastic:  You will find that a majority of our online boutique is paper products versus plastic and even some bamboo.

Packaging:  Your Party in a Box is packaged in eco-friendly tissue paper inside of a cardboard box and paper confetti is sprinkled on top.  Simply recycle the tissue paper and confetti and reuse or recycle the box!

E-Receipts:  We're committed to saving trees, one unnecessary document at a time.  We do not include a packing slip in your order but instead send an E-Receipt.  You are also able to view your receipt at any time on our website.

In the party industry, it is very difficult to go completely free of plastics so we hope that when you do buy plastic products from us, you reuse those products. What is a party without confetti? We sprinkle confetti into every box and love our newest confetti vendor, Studio Pep! Studio Pep confetti is made with premium, eco-friendly, American-made tissue paper - scatter and then recycle after use! For Earth Day we are excited to announce our newest confetti alternative, Flower Confetti! Sustainably grown, natural petals picked by hand on a family-owned, English farm. Eco-friendly and 100% biodegradable. Packaged with pep in their PA, USA studio.

Our Party in a Box packaging is eco-friendly!  Your items are packed in premium quality, eco-friendly tissue paper inside of a cardboard box and paper confetti is sprinkled on top!  When you recieve your box, simple recycle the tissue paper and paper confetti and reuse or recycle the box!
